$7,000 and below

Webb Simpson ($6,900)
Inconsistent this season, Webb Simpson has still managed three top-20 finishes this season and a fifth-place showing at the DEAN & DELUCA. He also has a strong track record in the Travelers and could be a nice pickup in terms of value.

Chez Reavie ($6,900)
Point-blank, Chez Reavie is hot right now (much like Hansel). He finished tied for fourth at the St. Jude and tied for 16th at the U.S. Open. On an open course, you like players playing as well as he is currently.

Adam Hadwin ($6,800)
At this price, it’s hard to see Adam Hadwin not being heavily owned on DraftKings. He started 2017 on a run to remember, but inconsistency from round-to-round has hurt him. That said, he’s a great young player with the ability to put up very low numbers.

Danny Lee ($6,800)
Though Danny Lee has managed only top-50 finishes in his last two outings, he’s been a steady hand with the ability to attack open courses, which he’ll have this week. I think he has a strong showing.

Nick Taylor ($6,800)
Nick Taylor has cooled off considerably since four-straight top-25 finishes and two-straight top-10s. However, he’s played solidly all year. The Canadian seems like he’s in for a good week at the Travelers.

Vaughn Taylor ($6,700)
Despite finishing outside of the top 70 in his last outing, Vaughn Taylor has been solid over the past few months. He’s only missed one cut since February and has finished in the top 25 four times since then as well.

Whee Kim ($6,600)
A poor final round hurt Whee Kim’s showing at the U.S. Open, tying for 50th. However, he tied for second at the St. Jude and registered a top-35 finish at the DEAN & DELUCA. This is solid value-risk play here.

Trey Mullinax ($6,500)
This is definitely a flier as Trey Mullinax was playing poorly in late April and through May. However, he tied for 18th at the St. Jude and then tied for ninth at the U.S. Open. That’s not a bad look coming into the Travelers at this price on DraftKings.

K.J. Choi ($6,400)
This is a familiar name for long-time golf fans, but K.J. Choi has ultimately been forgettable this season, missing 9-of-13 cuts this season. However, he has a good history in this tournament and could be a sleeper at this price.
