Justin Houston

Edge, Georgia Bulldogs

While the Houston Texans thought they could go all 9-7 again and win the AFC South, that didn’t turn out so hot in the Space City for their professional football team. The Tom Savage Garden didn’t yield all that much fruitful produce and clearly Deshaun Watson wasn’t exactly ready to start in year one.

Since 2017 No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett is exempt from the rookie clause in the 2018 SEC redraft, the Cleveland Browns will wisely double-down on their pass rushing abilities, by taking Justin Houston with the pick they garnered from Houston in the Watson trade.

The Kansas City Chiefs can’t catch a break here. They’ve already lost Eric Berry to the Buffalo Bills at No. 10. Now Houston is going to the Browns to play opposite of Garrett off the edge. You better believe that Andy Reid is throwing a conniption fit. Could you blame him?

Not only did the Browns possibly quadruple their win totals in 2017 from 2016, but they pick up quarterback Cam Newton at No. 4 and Houston at No. 13. Maybe by the end of the decade Cleveland can challenge presumably Pittsburgh atop the AFC North? The Browns are crushing it in this SEC redistribution draft. Moneyball over all!

All the plays out of 3-1 personnel didn’t get it done in the Big Apple. The New York Giants are on the clock…
