Fox would pair well in the backcourt with newly acquired shooting guard Buddy Hield. Both players are great at getting out in transition and finding open space on the floor, Fox in the lane and Hield around the 3-point arc. Fox has a high offensive ceiling that will hinge nearly entirely on his ability to develop a jump shot. He struggled mightily shooting from everywhere on the floor this season, but added strength and a larger sample size could render those concerns much more manageable.
Defensively, Fox should be a harasser at the point of attack. He stays in front of opposing point guards well and also has a nose for jumping passing lanes when he ends up off the ball. Sacramento will no doubt benefit immensely from landing their point guard of the future here.
