Last week on WWE SmackDown! Live, General Manager Daniel Bryan made his return to television and wasted no time in directing traffic. His first order of business was to address the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match from Sunday night, specifically the situation surrounding James Ellsworth climbing the ladder and pulling down the briefcase for Carmella.

He announced that this week will feature a rematch from Sunday as Carmella, Natalya, Tamina, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair will battle in a Money In The Bank ladder match. Now that we have a standing precedent for the match, Ellsworth shouldn’t be a factor the second time around. Can Carmella find a way to once again get her hands on the briefcase, or will one of the other ladies cash in on a rare second chance?

Speaking of rematches and second chances, Lana is getting another crack at the SmackDown! Live Women’s Championship. She interrupted Naomi’s interview regarding the Money In The Bank situation last Tuesday night and demanded a rematch. Naomi, as a fighting champion, accepted the rematch and will put her title on the line this week.

Also, remember last year when The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley) won the #1 Contender’s Battle Royal to earn a shot at the SmackDown! Live Tag Team Titles? Well, an injury to Ryder put those plans on hold. As it turns out, Daniel Bryan hasn’t forgotten about that. He put the duo in a non-title match against The Usos, with the promise that a victory over the champs will give them a shot (likely at Battleground in July) at the gold.
