Dez Bryant

Wide Receiver, Lufkin, Texas

The Buffalo Bills struggled during the 2017 NFL season, as they just could not get the stops they needed on defense. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor was solid once again, putting up good numbers in the passing game, and wide receiver Zay Jones proved to be a solid pick in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. However, Sammy Watkins once again could not stay healthy enough to reach his potential, making a selection of Dez Bryant at No. 7 a must.

Bryant heads to Buffalo after another solid season in Dallas, leading the Cowboys back to the playoffs. While his loss is certain to be felt by his Cowboys teammates, his arrival should help Taylor take another step forward as a quarterback. The Bills finished the second in third in the AFC East, but they could be the second-best team in the division in 2018 with Bryant on board.

A native Texan, Bryant got to play in front of such loyal fans in Dallas, and will now have to play his home games across the country. Still, he is a playmaker, and his arrival should make Jones that much better in his second season with the Bills. Running back LeSean McCoy still has a lot left in the tank, making this Bills offense a dangerous one in 2018.

The New England Patriots will once again be the favorite to win the AFC East in 2018, but with Ryan Tannehill gone in Miami, and the Jets having one of the worst rosters in football, they may actually be able to fight for a Wildcard.
