Have you ever wondered what it would be like if an All-NBA center decided to grow his own garden in the summer? What about what picture would go with the hashtag #whatsinyourgazpacho? Well, thankfully Marc Gasol is there to answer both of those questions for us.

This is another one of those take a chance follows but based on the early offseason trends it looks like Gasol is going to be sharing the growth of his new hobby with us. And based on one of the first pictures of the garden that he posted, there is going to be plenty to share. I mean seriously look at this thing. It is huge.

The cool thing is that based on what we think we know about Marc Gasol, there is going to be plenty more than just pictures. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Gasol starts giving out gardening tips. Or showing us the gazpacho recipe that ends up being the end result of his labors. But I’m pretty interested in this account either way.

We normally just see athletes as big tough dudes who life heavy things and relax. Seeing a guy do something so difficult and yet delicate as gardening is pretty cool. And of course it is a Gasol. It couldn’t really have been anyone but a Gasol. Those two are just so cool.

Oh and when there aren’t gardening pictures up Gasol likes act like a dad. Like the picture of his garage captioned “If Apple started in a garage….why not reinvent myself.” That line is so dad it isn’t even funny. Yet it seems so perfect coming from Gasol. I don’t get it either.
