Carmelo Anthony on Instagram (@carmeloanthony)

I can’t just copy and paste the same sentence a bunch of times in a row to write this section so I’m just going to say it a different way a few times, and the reason why Carmelo Anthony’s Instagram is on this list will be clear.

He wore a robe with his name on it to a bodega in the middle of August.

Carmelo Anthony has a robe with Melo on it and he wore it to a random bodega in New York in the middle of the summer.

Carmelo Anthony was too lazy to get dressed to go to the bodega so he wore his robe that has Melo embroidered on it.

Someone was shopping at a New York City bodega one random night last August and Carmelo Anthony walked in wearing an embroidered robe.

Now, yes, officially the video of that moment was posted on Lala Anthony’s Instagram account. But that doesn’t mean that Anthony can’t post something similar this summer if the mood hits again. Which is important.

With the possibility for more chaos in New York or an exit to a new team, there will be plenty of meme-able moments to come. So be sure that you are #StayingMe7o (which is a really weird hashtag).
