Carlos Correa

SS, Houston Astros

This Houston team is stacked. After a disappointing 2016 MLB campaign, it seems that the Astros are not only back to their 2015 form, but are poised to be an absolute buzzsaw throughout the summer, down the stretch and deep into October.

One of their better players that has had an MVP level first half is shortstop Carlos Correa. With an impressive 3.6 WAR, Correa is hitting .303 with a .384 on-base percentage and a .516 slugging percentage. Correa has 14 home runs, 48 runs batted in and has scored 52 runs for the Astros in three months.

Bryce Harper

RF, Washington Nationals

While the Atlanta Braves have played better of late, the National League East belongs to the Washington Nationals. Barring a massive shift in power in the next three months, Washington will inevitably win its division and be the biggest threat to win the pennant for whomever comes out on top in the NL West.

On player that has been huge for the Nationals offense is right fielder Bryce Harper. Harper has a 2.6 WAR, scoring 57 runs for Washington. He is hitting .316 on the year with an on-base percentage of .419 and a slugging percentage of .583. Harper has 18 home runs and 56 runs batted in.
