1. Raymond Felton, PG, Los Angeles Clippers

The last player that the Warriors may need to find a replacement for is their backup point guard, Shaun Livingston. Often in Dubs’ games, you’ll see Livingston and his 6-foot-7 frame post up on the baseline against a smaller point guard. Nine times out of 10, the ball doesn’t doesn’t even touch the rim.

He’s still young and likely wants to get paid after winning two championships. So the Warriors could have to find a replacement here. Patrick McCaw is a young player that will find some time, but Bob Myers should find a veteran ring chaser that wants to come on for the minimum.

After spending some time with non-championship contenders, it’s more likely that Felton wants to chase an NBA title at this point of his career. Felton played in 80 games with the Clippers, where he averaged 6.7 points and 2.4 assists per game. He wasn’t a great shooter from the field or the 3-point line, but he’s steady and a reasonable defender.

Livingston didn’t spread the floor at all, his 3-point shot didn’t even exist. Yet the Warriors were still able to take advantage and they’ll have to do the same with Felton. He’ll be a good burst of energy off the bench and can definitely spell Stephen Curry. Another veteran that’s played big minutes is ideal for a championship squad.
