3. Joe Ingles, SF, Utah Jazz

A name that hasn’t come up as a target for many teams, but is a vastly underrated player is Utah’s Joe Ingles. Known for his defensive prowess, Ingles would be a solid contributor on a nightly basis for the Pacers.

Ingles has been in the league for three seasons, all with the Utah Jazz. Each year, he has seen constant improvement, with last year being his best yet. Per 36 minutes, Ingles is averaging 10.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. He’s also shooting 45 percent from the field and 44 percent from 3-point range.

That’s a key figure, because it helps space the floor for Paul George and other playmakers. He’s also a defensive presence and at 6-foot-8, Ingles has the size to stay with most wing players in the NBA.

Since he’s underrated in many aspects, he won’t be looking for a large contract either, so there’s a possibility that Indiana can pick him up on the cheap and play him alongside George. He also seems like a fit in Indiana, a blue-collar player that works hard night-in and night-out.

Let’s see if Kevin Pritchard can convince Ingles to join the Pacers this offseason.
