5. Jrue Holiday

Jrue Holiday has enough talent to be a point guard for a playoff team, but he hasn’t quite found the right spot for himself yet. He could be an ideal fit on the Magic, because he has the foresight to set up forwards unlike almost any other guard in the league. He also has excellent shooting touch, and that could help Nikola Vucevic to spread the floor. Holiday is in a good situation on the New Orleans Pelicans with DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis, but the point guard could be looking for a different atmosphere.

The Dallas Mavericks are also apparently “serious contenders” to sign Holiday, so he won’t be cheap to get. Owner Mark Cuban has never been shy about opening his wallet. This will cause Orlando to overpay if they want to add a new point guard, but Holiday would definitely be worth it. He is a skilled player; however, he also needs to cut down on his turnovers. He might not be the most athletic player to ever be a point guard in the NBA, but he would still be a better option for the Magic than what they currently have on the roster.
