My Ideal DraftKings fantasy golf picks

Stars and Scrubs

Patrick Reed ($11,200)
Kevin Kisner ($10,700)
Sean O’Hair ($8,100)
Stewart Cink ($6,900)
Nick Taylor ($6,700)
Seamus Power ($6,400)

As always, this lineup is predicated on getting a big showing from the likes of Reed and Kisner, but it also needs consistency from the scrubs that are in play. That’s wheat we’re looking for in the sub-$7,000 players, and most importantly from Sean O’Hair at his price.

(Mostly) Balanced

Charles Howell ($9,700)
Tony Finau ($9,100)
Kevin Streelman ($8,900)
Xander Schauffele ($7,900)
Bryson DeChambeau ($7,400)
Harris English ($7,000)

If you’re going to go with a balanced lineup, my advice would be to do it in a low-cost game and try to bank on the upside. All six of these players have a chance to win at The Greenbrier Classic this week. They all have that talent and type of game. At the same time, there are several that have the potential to do as poorly as missing the cut. Are you willing to take that risk?

My Ideal DraftKings fantasy golf lineup

Bill Haas ($10,800)
David Lingmerth ($10,000)
Sean O’Hair ($8,100)
Bryson DeChambeau ($7,400)
Braden Thornberry ($6,900)
Nick Taylor ($6,700)

I’ll be the first to admit that there is a ton of risk in this lineup, but I’m all-in on all of that gamble, especially in tournament play. There are few guys sure to have low ownership this week on DraftKings and there is massive potential here. There’s nothing safe here, but the risk is always there in a weak field such as this.
