10 things VAR could stand for that would be less annoying than Video Assistant Referee

Vacationing Amid Riots
I don’t need to explain why a vacation is preferable to a faulty video system. While your entire village is angrily riling up the village manager, why not take a vacation amid the riots? A vacation is preferable at most any time in a person’s life. Taking one during a potentially dangerous situation is just the icing on the cake.
Being able to even take a vacation is something to celebrate in itself. Studies show that less than 50 percent of all Americans even take a vacation during the year. In fact, only 25 percent of those who are offered a paid vacation actually take one. The average income of those who do vacation is over $62,000 per year. If you take a yearly vacation, you’re doing alright for yourself.
Most vacation destinations are to Florida and California. The average distance from home to destination is 284 miles away. The most common activity to do on vacation is shop. These are all stats based on a non-riot avoidance vacation.
Vacationing stats amid riots are very different, at least I’d assume so. I’d venture to say most destinations during a riot would be “away from here” and the average distance would be “as far as a full tank of gas can get me.” Reasons to vacation might include, “to not die,” or “making sure I stay alive.”
Now, this is not the same as vacating all responsibilities. In that scenario, all responsibilities are exiled. With this particular reasoning, those items are just put to the side for awhile. The only thing you’re vacating here is a riot.
