1. Cesar Azpilicueta to Barcelona

Barcelona are rightfully one of the biggest clubs in the world, and they see the world as their oyster when it comes to the transfer market. That said, the Premier League is just not their supermarket. Yes, Barca are in need of a right-back, and yes, Azpilicueta would fill that need. There’s no real reason why Chelsea would sell him, though.

Azpilicueta was a crucial member of the title-winning side last season, and he has been an important player at Stamford Bridge for years. Antonio Conte needs him; there’s no real backup for his position other than Kurt Zouma. Just because a player is Spanish doesn’t mean Barcelona are entitled to him. That’s why this rumor seems so one-sided. Ernesto Valverde likely does want him, but why would Chelsea give him up?
