Los Angeles Chargers

So we’re going to have to watch an NFL team play in an MLS stadium in 2017? You betcha, and it’s going to be quirky experience that the internet is going to have fun with. The

San Diego

Los Angeles Chargers should have a decent football team playing at the StubHub Center in Carson.

They have hired former Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn to call the shots. Adding former Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley could make this a dynamic defense overnight in that Seattle Cover 3. Of course, quarterback whisperer Ken Whisenhunt is still with the organization to help Philip Rivers do his best to get this team back into the AFC Playoffs.

On paper, don’t be surprised if the Chargers win 10 or 11 games. This team has some serious talent on both sides of the ball. Getting two standout offensive linemen in Forrest Lamp and Dan Feeney in the 2017 NFL Draft feels like the Chargers fleeced everybody. Then again, why did they draft wide receiver Mike Williams at No. 7? It’s not like the Chargers need another guy with an injury-riddle past.

Bradley should have a monstrous pass rush with Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. A healthy Jason Verrett makes the secondary compelling. If Denzel Perryman takes another leap at linebacker, the Chargers might rival Denver or Kansas City as the best defense in the AFC West.

Despite moving two hours north and playing in a soccer stadium, this looks to be a good first year in Los Angeles for the Chargers. However, they will lose one dumb game that will sadly cost them a trip to the AFC Playoffs and a shot at the division crown. No matter the time or place, the Chargers will find a way to do Chargers things.
