2017 NFL win/loss projections for all 32 teams

Chicago Bears
Okay, we’re now at our first team that is going to have a terrible season. It’s not to anyone’s surprise, but things are not looking good for the Chicago Bears this fall. So letting Jay Cutler retire to go do broadcast analyst work for FOX has led to a trio in a quarterback room no one wants: Mike Glennon, Mark Sanchez and rookie Mitchell Trubisky.
The Bears arguably the worst offseason of any team in football. Trading up from No. 3 to No. 2 to draft Trubisky out of North Carolina was especially puzzling. He would have been available at No. 3 where the Bears were originally. It wasn’t like general manager Ryan Pace gave a ton of money to Jameis Winston’s backup Mike Glennon in free agency, oh wait, he did.
To say the Bears are in a weird spot as an organization would be putting it kindly. Both Pace and head coach John Fox are definitely on the hot seat. The problem is that they have conflicting interests on how to make the Bears better. Pace wants to win future drafts and Fox needs to win on the field yesterday. If this team wins six games, it would be a miracle.
One could argue that the Bears are the most directionless team in the NFC for this upcoming season. The New York Jets and maybe the Cleveland Browns are worse than them, but that’s about it. There’s almost no way that the Bears aren’t picking again in the top-five next year. With the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers making offseason moves to get better, yes, the Bears are probably the worst team in the NFC.
That being said, they do have a few players that should be fun to watch. Kyle Long is a delight along the offensive line. He has clearly the playing for a losing franchise card from his older brother Chris by being a Monster of the Midway. Running back Jordan Howard could very well lead the league in rushing. Bears fans, just get ready for the upcoming draft and try not to feel super horrible about how y’all aren’t taking a quarterback in 2018. Mitch Trubisky!
Projected Record: 3-13, Misses NFC Playoffs
