Best DraftKings fantasy golf lineups

Stars and Scrubs

Jon Rahm ($11,400)
Sergio Garcia ($10,600)
Louis Oosthuizen ($8,300)
Daniel Berger ($6,700)
Brian Harman ($6,600)
Stewart Cink ($6,300)

Many times when looking at Stars and Scrubs for DraftKings fantasy golf picks, you want sure-fire winners at the top. There’s a bit of risk with Rahm in this lineup. However, the confidence in the so-called scrubs in this lineup and their quality affords the opportunity to take that kind of risk. If he hits, this could be a big winner.

Mid-Tier Load-up

Hideki Matsuyama ($9,500)
Rickie Fowley ($9,200)
Louis Oosthuizen ($8,300)
Shane Lowry ($7,900)
Zach Johnson ($7,600)
Ian Poulter ($7,500)

Obviously with the load-up on the mid-tier, you’re looking for a mix of consistency with high upside. That’s what you have throughout this lineup. The play of Lowry and Poulter will be critical to this lineup succeeding. However, if you’re looking for more of a low-risk option that has a chance to finish well in some tournaments, this is a nice blend of DraftKings fantasy golf picks.

My Ideal DraftKings fantasy golf lineup

Tommy Fleetwood ($9,800)
Hideki Matsuyama ($9,500)
Rickie Fowler ($9,200)
Justin Thomas ($8,200)
Daniel Berger ($6,700)
Brian Harman ($6,600)

Admittedly, this lineup has a ton of risk in it, but I find it to also have more upside than most other that you can come up with. The linchpin in it paying off is Thomas. He’s been a wild card this season and his recent form hasn’t been great. But when thinking back to the U.S. Open, it’s hard to forget his record-setting third round. I think he comes through again in the third major and really solidifies a great lineup for the British Open.
