Next Week: July 24-26 vs. Pirates, July 28-30 at Dodgers

The Dodgers finally lost a game, snapping an 11-game winning streak dating back to July 2. Los Angeles actually dropped the first two games of a four-game series with the Atlanta Braves at the tail end of the week, but rebounded to take the final two games, including Sunday’s 5-4 walk-off win.

Chris Taylor led the club with 13 hits, which tied for the MLB lead, and five RBI. Taylor, Corey Seager and Enrique Hernandez each homered twice during the week to lead the offense.

Next: MLB Trade Deadline: 30 players likely to move

On a sour note, Kenley Jansen, Brandon McCarthy and Alex Wood were all hit hard last week. Also, Clayton Kershaw, who tossed nine scoreless innings in two starts, left Sunday’s game with tightness in his back, which could force the Cy Young candidate to the DL, and might motivate the Dodgers to aggressively target a starter before this week’s trade deadline.
