High Salary Guards

Skylar Diggins-Smith – Dallas Wings ($7,800):

If you feel like spending some cash on your lineup’s backcourt, check out Skylar Diggins-Smith. Dallas plays very fast and has the ability to put up some points and in a hurry, especially against Indiana. Diggins-Smith can make a nice addition to your roster and accommodations should be made in order to get her into your roster on Tuesday night. While basically the entire Dallas team is inconsistent in terms of fantasy production, Diggins-Smith is the exception. If you are looking to save some money, the rookie Allisha Gray has the ability to put up some serious fantasy points as well against the defensively ineffective Fever.

Brittney Sykes – Atlanta Dream ($6,700):

I am absolutely in love with how well Brittney Sykes has been playing as of late. She’s been very aggressive on the offensive end and has been very consistent from the free throw line. The rookie from Syracuse continues to impress and should be considered against a Phoenix team that is hurting at the moment.

Courtney Vandersloot- Chicago Sky ($6,500):

One of the best 8-13 teams you will ever see, the Chicago Sky has been on a roll with recent wins of Los Angeles and Minnesota to add to their credit. A good reason for their recent efficient play has been the offensive emergence of Courtney Vandersloot. Cappie Pondexter has since returned from the concussion that ultimately opened the door for Vandersloot to get the opportunity for increased playing time. However, it doesn’t appear that she poses much of a threat to take back her role as long as things continue to go well. Allie Quigley ($6,000) also continues to play well and is always a threat from behind the arch.

Jewell Lloyd – Seattle Storm ($6,000): There isn’t a team more “hot and cold” this season than Seattle. Just when you think they are going to start playing up to their full potential, they revert back to their old ways. Jewell Lloyd continues to pose as a legit threat on both sides of the court and could be in store for a nice game against a Los Angeles team that she put up 22 against in their meeting.

Diana Taurasi – Phoenix Mercury ($5,800): The loss of Brittney Griner has opened the door for more offensive opportunities for Diana Taurasi. She takes a lot of shots, especially from behind the arch and is one of the only legit threats on Phoenix at the moment.
