FanDuel daily WNBA fantasy picks: Tuesday July 25
High-Value Guards
Briann January – Indiana Fever ($4,900): Briann January continues to play well with her increased workload since the season ending injury to Shenise Johnson. Dallas plays fast and also gives up a lot of points. We can take this opportunity to cut some costs and insert a high-risk, high-reward January into the mix in order to have some capital set aside for the expensive names. Speaking of high risk-high reward, also consider Tiffany Mitchell ($3,800) if you need to go even cheaper.
Karima Christmas-Kelly -Dallas Wings ($4,600): If Kaela Davis sits this one out, consider Karima Christmas-Kelly. Chrismas-Kelly will see a usage increase and will have the opportunity to put up some numbers if given the chance. She has played well against Indiana this season, scoring a combined 57 fantasy points over two meets. Check Davis’ status prior to lock time.
Moriah Jefferson – San Antonio Stars ($4,200): Injuries is the theme here as we have several questionable players on Tuesday. If Kayla McBride remains sidelined with the ankle injury that has kept her out of the Stars last two contests, Moriah Jefferson can give you a nice return for your money. She is a versatile player who can score, pass and grab rebounds. Also keep in mind that Vickie Johnson continues to try to integrate Kelsey Plum ($3,800) into the mix. Plum scored 16 points in 31 minutes in San Antonio’s last game versus Indiana.
Monique Currie – Phoenix Mercury ($3,800): Monique Currie has found herself more involved since Brittney Griner went down. She should continue to be a consistent offensive presence as long as Griner is out and has established more consistently than anyone not named Diana Taurasi.
Kristi Tolliver – Washington Mystics ($3,700) And more injuries…if Elena Delle Donne sits, Tolliver will more than likely see an increase in offensive production. Same will hold true for Ivory Latta ($3,400). Both Tolliver and Latta have produced relatively well since the season ending injury to Tayler Hill and seem to have more clout in Washington lately than Tierra Ruffin-Pratt.
