Jason Whitlock lets loose on Odell Beckham Jr. on his FS1 show, Speak For Yourself.

Odell Beckham Jr. is the latest target of Jason Whitlock’s apparent disgust with all the players in the NFL. Whitlock, on his show, Speak For Yourself definitely did so on Monday. He called Odell overhyped and overrated shortly after Odell made some outlandish claims of his own.

A few days ago, Beckham Jr. made the statement, “I believe that I will be hopefully not just the highest-paid receiver in the league, but the highest paid, period.” OBJ wants to take home more cash than a quarterback. This apparently set Whitlock over the edge.

He went on the above rant that turned his the other three co-panelists on the show against him.  He also ended up producing one of the best sound bytes of the offseason.

This all came after John Mara, co-owner of the Giants, replied to Beckham Jr.

"He deserves to get paid. We’re going to pay him. It’s just a question of when we enter into the contract, and I don’t have a timetable on it right now. I just don’t think there’s any need to rush into it. He’s going to end up getting paid at some point."

Granted, this came with a slight caveat that OBJ likely did not want to hear

"The quarterback is always going to be the highest-paid player."

Still, Odell Beckham Jr. even showed up to camp well before Whitlock went off on his rant.

While Odell may have a big mouth and an even bigger personality, he does have the stats to back it up. According to Pro Football Reference, Odell Beckham Jr. is averaging over 1,300 yards per season with a 63 percent catch rate. He’s averaging over 11 touchdowns per season as well.

For comparison, the only wide receivers that are averaging higher numbers over the last three years in those stats are Julio Jones and Antonio Brown.
