The Washington Redskins are in good hands with their new wide receiver Terrelle Pryor. Here he is making a crazy grab at Redskins camp on Tuesday.

It’s been an interesting football career thus far for converted wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, who was once the best quarterback prospect in his draft class. He went to Ohio State with great promise, but scandal wrecked a promising Buckeyes career. Pryor would play quarterback for the Oakland Raiders, but it was a position change to wide receiver with the Cleveland Browns that has saved his career.

In three years, Pryor has fully embraced his new NFL role with a new team. He is coming off a 1,000-yard receiving season with the 2016 Cleveland Browns. Already in Washington Redskins’ training camp, Pryor is seen showing that his 1,000-yard season with the Browns was no fluke.

It’s only a drill in training camp, but these type of ball skills being showcased could indicate that Pryor is an appropriate replacement in the Washington receiving corps. Keep in mind that the Redskins lost Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson in free agency.

While many thought the Redskins passing game was ruined when Garcon and Jackson went their separate ways, they failed to realize that Jordan Reed is a monster at tight end, Josh Doctson was elite in college at TCU and Pryor might be a top-15 wideout for all we know.

Add in double-franchise tagged quarterback Kirk Cousins playing for all the marbles and this Redskins offense might hum. Sure, they did lose offensive coordinator Sean McVay, who became the new head coach of the Los Angeles Rams, but Washington should still have a top-10 passing attack this fall.

The NFC East is definitely winnable, as all four teams should be in the mix this year. It will be interesting to see the rapport that Cousins builds with another former Big Ten quarterback in Pryor.
