2. Florida Gators (14)

Jarrett Stidham was mentioned earlier as one of the transfer quarterbacks who figures to have a big impact in college football this season. Malik Zaire is another one to keep an eye on for the 14th-ranked Florida Gators.

Zaire played the last three seasons at Notre Dame. Even though he saw limited action he still flashed some great plays. Once again, he will have to work to see the field. He will be locked in a full-on quarterback competition with Feleipe Franks. Whoever wins that battle will have a plethora of weapons at their disposal.

Jordan Scarlett returns at the running back position. He will have his eyes on eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark after rushing for 889 yards last season.

Antonio Callaway will likely be the main target for the Gators. He caught a team-leading 54 passes for 721 yards in 2016. However, they also return a balanced attack of weapons including Brandon Powell and DeAndre Goolsby.

The defense has quite a bit of turnover and lost safety Marcell Harris to an injury over the summer. The offense will definitely have to shoulder the load. Something they are very capable of doing.
