Anthony Joshua responds to cheating accusations made by Amir Khan

After becoming the focus of an ugly Twitter battle between Amir Khan and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Anthony Joshua has responded to Khan’s accusations of him having a relationship with the woman.
Could we see Anthony Joshua versus Amir Khan inside a boxing ring? No. Never, the weight discrepancy is significant.
But, we did see them “throw down” on social media early Friday morning, with Joshua scoring a TKO victory of epic proportions.
In a storm of tweets, Khan announced that he would be divorcing his wife of four years upon finding out that she had been allegedly cheating with Joshua, sparking the shocking announcement.
Khan continued to speak about his impending divorce, revealing more details about his wife’s infidelity with what looks to be screenshots of an exchange between her and Joshua. Then, Khan went on to say how his wife used to speak of “being with someone else,” but another boxer is the last person he expected she’d go for.
Well, Joshua caught wind of the allegations hurled his way and responded to Khan in hilarious fashion.
On Twitter, Joshua would post a 14-second music video clip of “It Wasn’t Me,” the legendary song inspired by being caught cheating made by reggae artist Shaggy in 2000. The response was completely unexpected, but took the social media by storm, prompting the Khan drama to become a worldwide trend on Twitter.
After his quick-witted response, Joshua offered more input on the situation, taking a mature route in the second round that saw him explain why it couldn’t have been him cheating with Khan’s wife.
“Bantz aside, I hope you guys can resolve your situation or this is a hack as we have never even met! Plus, I like my women BBW,” said Joshua alongside the hashtag “It Wasn’t Me”.
Since his initial tweet, Khan hasn’t shed any more light on the unfortunate situation, but his wife did on her Twitter account. She denied any cheating on her part and called out her husband for being the one who has cheated throughout their relationship.
While this may seem like a completely random beef between two of boxing’s best, there does seem to be some truth it, just not from the aspect of Joshua being involved in any way.

In the meantime, Joshua is now looking for his next title defense against anyone not named Wladimir Klitschko. In the last couple of days, there have been talks of him versus Luis Ortiz, a former WBA interim heavyweight champion.
After his spectacular showing against Klitschko, Joshua could possibly look to capture lightning in a bottle twice and put on a great show with the heavy-hitting Ortiz sometime this year.
