High Value Guards

Odyssey Sims – Los Angeles Sparks ($4,400) With the usual high-salaried options up front, we need to find value on Friday night. Odyssey Sims has been very good over the past few games averaging 28 points over that span. She does present somewhat of a risk due to the inconsistent nature of play but if she gets it going, you will be happy by the time the night is over.

Tierra Ruffin-Pratt – Washington Mystics ($3,700) With Elena Delle Donne (thumb) and Natasha Cloud (foot) both out on Friday, Washington is lacking in depth. Tierra Ruffin-Pratt will likely see an increased role and could also see an uptake in her production. With an average of seven points and six rebounds per game, she probably isn’t going to see a 40 point fantasy game but could possibly hit the five times value mark by the time the night is through.

Bria Hartley – New York Liberty ($3,600) I am not a fan of the crowded New York backcourt situation but I will make an exception for Bria Hartley. Over the past three contests, she is averaging 20 fantasy points per contest. At a bargain price of only $3,600, she also has a chance to see numbers way beyond her value. Keep her in your back pocket on Friday night.

Cappie Pondexter – Chicago Sky ($3,400) Cappie Pondexter hasn’t been the same since returning from the concussion that kept her sidelined for a few games. However, at a $3,400 price tag, things are getting out of hand pricewise because it is inevitable that she will bounce back at some point this season. If there is ever a chance of that happening, it will be Friday night against a team like the Indiana Fever. She is just too good to not produce again this season.
