FanDuel daily WNBA fantasy picks: Friday, August 4

High Salary Forwards

Breanna Stewart – Seattle Storm ($8,300) Breanna Stewart should be the cornerstone of everybody’s lineup on Friday night. I don’t dislike Tina Charles, Nneka Ogwumike or Candace Parker but the matchup that presents itself against the Wings is just too good to pass up. She put up over 50 fantasy points against Dallas last week and a repeat performance is highly probable. Stewart’s tag-team partner Crystal Langhorne ($5,600) could also be in line for another big one and has been cleaning up the glass lately, making her another efficient fantasy option.

Jonquel Jones – Connecticut Sun ($7,400) I don’t know who is setting the prices over there at FanDuel but Jonquel Jones at $7,400, really? Phoenix is not as effective on the interior or on the glass since the injury to Brittney Griner (obviously). Jones is likely to make them suffer as a result and will more than likely hit a double-double. The leading rebounder in the league will get plenty of chances to add to her total on Friday night. Alyssa Thomas ($6,900) is also ridiculously under-priced. She has hit 38 fantasy points over the past two games. Jones and Thomas as a one-two punch isn’t a bad way to go on Friday night.

Emma Meesseman – Washington Mystics ($7,300) Emma Meesseman has been on a tear lately, averaging 21 points, seven boards and three blocks over the past three games. With Elena Delle Donne out and Washington facing off against the struggling San Antonio Stars, Meesseman will be ready for an efficient fantasy outing. Krystal Thomas ($5,600) will also see an opportunity to see more time with all of the injuries on the Mystic’s roster. Thomas is a nice value option if you find yourself strapped for cash when setting your lineup.
