Here is everything you need to know about how to watch Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor box on August 26th.

Undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather and UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor are set to clash in the biggest fight in combat sports history. The crossover bout has generated remarkable buzz since the announcement and is expected to challenge the pay-per-view record.

The fight will be aired on Showtime pay-per-view and fans can order the fight in advance already. Showtime has also a website hub to check the availability of the fight on a variety of television providers.

Showtime.com

Showtime announced they will be live streaming the bout on their website. This will be a high quality, and more importantly legal, live stream. But that also means it is going to cost you the same as if you ordered through your television provider.

UFC Fight Pass (UFC.TV)

It was also announced that UFC.tv, or UFC Fight Pass, would also be streaming the fight. UFC Fight Pass regularly streams UFC pay-per-views, but unlike the WWE Network the events are not included in the monthly fee. Users are still required to pay full price for a UFC pay-per-view.

YouTube

The UFC typically streams their pay-per-view events on UFC Fight Pass and YouTube. Viewers still need to pay for the broadcast, but it’s a wonderful option for cord cutters looking to stream the fights on mobile devices, smart TVs or through apps on Playstation, Roku and Apple TV.

Showtime may offer a stream on YouTube, albeit not for free.

The down side is it’s $100 but people will pay. If you’re unwilling to pay that sum of money for this fight. If you’re looking for an illegal, but free, alternative, here are some options.

Reddit

Reddit is the front page of the internet and prides itself on having a sub-Reddit for any topic. It also is a home for things to be passed around, like live streams for events. A simple search of “Mayweather McGregor live stream” should bring about a list of potential options.

For instance, look at all the results for the Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Miguel Marriaga fight. And that was simply on ESPN 3.

Facebook

Facebook Live has been a wonderful innovation. It’s become incredibly easier for brands, celebrities and fans to connect. Many media outlets have embraced Facebook Live as a way to build social specific shows to connect with fans, or simply broadcasting shows on the platform.

It also is incredibly easy for anyone to stream on Facebook Live with little effort. A quick search on Facebook might yield some illegal streams of the fight. You might even log into Facebook and find one by simply scrolling through your newsfeed, given the interest in the fight.

At least one Facebook page seems to already be set up to stream the fight.

VPN

The pay-per-view event is cheaper to watch in some countries than others. With a virtual private network (VPN), like Hola, you can change your IP address to appear like you’re surfing the net from another country. You can then purchase the fight in a country where it is cheaper, like the United Kingdom at £19.95 (roughly $26), via a legal stream. Sky Sports is broadcasting the fight in the UK and has a Sky Go streaming app.

Illegal Streaming Sites

There are a wide variety of websites set up to illegally stream the fight. A Google search will bring up several results that may or may not be safe for you to use. It’s not recommended at all that you use any of these streams and you are using at your own risk. These links could put your computer at risk of things like malware.
