NASCAR Watkins Glen weekend TV schedule: Zippo 200 and I Love New York 355

The drivers in NASCAR’s top two series put their road course racing skills to the test again at The Glen, and we tell you where and when to tune in.

Time is running out in the 2017 NASCAR regular season, meaning there are fewer chances for winless drivers to grab a victory that secures them a playoff spot. The last thing some of them probably want to see right now is Watkins Glen, a place where some different skills are required.

That’s exactly what they’re getting this weekend, though, as both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series return to The Glen. And it could actually be good news for some who have proven themselves on the twisting track. Others will get a high pressure baptism by fire.

Regardless, the racing at Watkins Glen is often fun to watch, and it’s provided a little more late race drama in recent years than Sonoma. It’s also another early experiment in NASCAR’s new attempt to shorten the weekend for Cup Series teams , with qualifying taking place the same day as the race.
