5. Odell Beckham Jr.

One of the biggest storylines during training camp was whether Odell Beckham Jr. should hold out for a bigger contract. With the way he’s played in his first three seasons, he definitely deserves to make more than $2 million per year. The whole situation raised an interesting discussion regarding how much NFL players should get paid.

At 24 years of age, Odell Beckham has already established himself as one of the league’s elite wide receivers. He’s on the same level as Antonio Brown and Julio Jones and is five years younger than them. He’s also one of the few NFL players who has international recognition, as was evidenced by his trip to Europe last year.

In his rookie season, Beckham proved he was a human highlight reel when he made the greatest catch ever. The following year, his fiery temper came out when he and Josh Norman developed their rivalry. And in his third year, he single-handedly won his team games a number of times en route to his first playoff berth.

His childish antics are a concern for some and he did play poorly in the wild card round. But Beckham’s clearly the biggest star in the NFL and has a legitimate argument for being the best wide receiver in the league. A lot of people say quarterback’s the most important position, and it is. But if Beckham can put up these insane numbers with Eli Manning throwing him the ball, imagine how he’d look with a real quarterback.

Potential transfer fee: $250 million
