High Salary Forward

Sylvia Fowles – Minnesota Lynx ($8,900) Do we need to get super deep with this one? We are way too far into the season to not know how dominant Sylvia Fowles is. She had a rough go against Indiana, only scoring six points. However, she bounced back just fine against Atlanta, logging 27 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks. Not too shabby. She is going to be looking to make a statement against the Sparks and will be fired up for this heavyweight bout.

Candace Parker – Los Angeles Sparks ($8,700) Another person who is going to be fired up is Candace Parker. She is crushing it lately and hasn’t fallen below 38 fantasy points in the past eight contests.

Tina Charles – New York Liberty ($8,500) Atlanta is not too good on the glass and unfortunately for them, Tina Charles is. If you are worried about Minnesota/Los Angeles players canceling each other out, play it safe and ride with Tina Charles. New York is playing with a sense of urgency as we get closer to the playoffs and she wil be playing at a different level moving forward.

Nneka Ogwumike – Minnesota Lynx ($7,900) OK, another obvious one here. Nneka Ogwumike is generously priced on Friday night. Why not take advantage of it? Sometimes I don’t know who or how they determine these prices over at FanDuel but Ogwumike is not below any of the three above in ability by any stretch. She could hit 40 or 50 fantasy points on any given night so if you can’t afford any higher than Ogwumike, that’s completely ok.

Maya Moore – Minnesota Lynx ($7,800) Maya Moore is very versatile and has been shooting very well from downtown this season. Los Angeles is having issues in that area and it wouldn’t be unreasonable to believe Maya Moore will put a hurtin’ on the Sparks. Keep her in mind.

Kiah Stokes – New York Liberty ($4,100) There really isn’t much for value at the forward spot on Friday night. Kiah Stokes is the closest thing that we are going to get for below $5,000 that has any potential to score beyond her value. She has been coming off the bench but has been seeing a significant amount of minutes. She can get very serious on the boards and could be in for a good night on Friday.
