7. Toronto Raptors

No franchise has had to endure more humiliation at the hands of the Eastern Conference’s favorite son than the Raptors. The man spun the ball on his finger and then drained a 3-pointer in the middle of a playoff game. Then he started shooting with his left hand. It was the most disrespectful performance in a series that I’ve ever witnessed.

Toronto is good, but they aren’t the best or the young group with stars. They’re the group that is consistently ignored and criticized due to recent failures.

No matter what the Raptors do, they’re consistently that team that’s just an inconvenience. “The Bucks might pull it off, they have Giannis.” “I wouldn’t count out John Wall and the Wizards.” “The Celtics are built to compete this year and the next ten years.” “The Raptors? Can’t wait for Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan to disappear again.”

The Raptors are so neglected that they’re the only NBA franchise in Canada. The league took a trip to Canada, grabbed Vancouver, and left Toronto behind like they were Kevin McCallister.

If Drake didn’t feel the need to remind everyone that he’s from Toronto in every song, no one would know that the Raptors exist. And even Drake abandons them for the Warriors when the playoffs start.
