Chelsea is clearly the favorite for this match but will need to send a very clear message to the rest of the league with a dominant victory to kick off the season.

Burnley lost both Michael Keane and Andre Gray this offseason, clearly not an ideal way to start a season. The Clarets will need to find a way to replace both players if they have hopes of avoiding relegation. They will be outmatched against Chelsea, but a nice display would do wonders to keep their heads up. Burnley will have to be compact defensively and hope that Chelsea’s attack fumbles without their best player. If Chelsea struggles to score, Burnley will have a real chance in this game.
