The Cleveland Indians didn’t score more than five runs in a single game last week but won four of six thanks to a handful of masterful pitching performances. Carlos Carrasco allowed two hits and two walks over eight shutout innings Friday against the Rays. Mike Clevinger held Tampa Bay scoreless through seven innings Saturday, and Corey Kluber picked up his second win of the week with seven strong innings in St. Pete Sunday.

Offensively, Yan Gomes, Austin Jackson and newcomer Jay Bruce tied for the team lead with three RBI, Francisco Lindor led the club with six hits and Eduardo Encarnacion hit two solo homers.
