1. Vince McMahon

Some people call McGregor vs Mayweather a circus more than a fight and compare it to WWE. So who better to walk out with McGregor than WWE head honcho himself, Vince McMahon.

McGregor has been compared to a WWE superstar in the past whether it’s his personality before fights or his taunting in the octagon. He’s even modeled his signature strut after the power walk of owner Vince McMahon.

The Irishman is no stranger to the WWE in the sense that he’s taken shots at multiple WWE superstars in the past both in interviews and on social media. Former WWE champion and current UFC fighter CM Punk claimed  McGregor was “working” the fans (trying to get a reaction) in an interview with Peter Rosenberg on Hot97 in 2016. It certainly seemed to work as McGregor got a reaction out of not only the fans but some of the WWE superstars as well.

At a recent open workout, McGregor talked about how much he loves Vince McMahon.

Since McGregor is expressing love for McMahon and already does his strut, why not have McMahon do the strut right along with him?

McGregor could also use this move to send a message to the UFC and Dana White. That message is that he has other options available to him other than a return to the octagon. He could use that in future contract negotiations with the company.

If McGregor does end up going the WWE route, it’s hard to see him being turned away. McMahon and the WWE would surely welcome McGregor with open arms and an open wallet.
