WWE superstar Roman Reigns isn’t a good guy. He’s not a bad guy. He’s THE guy who should win the Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

Sunday’s titanic Fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE Universal Championship should be an epic battle of heavies. Braun Strowman, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe will duke it out in the headline attraction for the 2017 edition of SummerSlam in Brooklyn.

Joe, Lesnar, Reigns and Strowman have spent the better part of the last few months tearing each other apart. A pull-apart brawl concluded Monday’s episode of Monday Night RAW, but there won’t be any such diffusion at Barclays Center on Sunday.

Reigns, already a three-time WWE Champion, could add more hardware on Sunday if he proves victorious. Here are five reasons why he should be the man to win the Universal Title.

5. Add fuel to the fire for a Reigns-Lesnar rematch

With Fatal Four-Way rules in play, Lesnar doesn’t have to be the man to take the fall in the match.

Therefore, it leaves the possibility open for Lesnar to have logical fuel toward a rematch with the champion.

There have been plenty of rumors that Reigns-Lesnar II may be in the cards for WrestleMania 34. Heyman’s declaration that he and Lesnar would leave WWE if Lesnar were to lose makes it easier to pave that path. You don’t even have to have Lesnar be a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia.

Lesnar’s motivation for a rematch could be crafted swiftly. With Roman building up a great track record of in-ring matches in 2017, one with Lesnar down the road would be must-see TV.
