11. SummerSlam 2003: Triple H vs. Goldberg vs. Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Nash

The finish of this match left a bit to be desired but getting there was a pretty good time. This was a crazy mix of superstars with a very young Randy Orton mixing it up with some of the biggest stars of the era in World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Chris Jericho and Goldberg inside the Elimination Chamber. What a crazy mix of WCW and WWE talent in one title match.

Jericho and Michaels started the match, keeping their rivalry going that was one of the best stories of 2003, and they battled for a few minutes before Orton entered the match. Kevin Nash entered next and was out first after HBK hit his former bodyguard with some Sweet Chin Music and Jericho made the cover. The champ was in fifth but was knocked back into his chamber with a big kick by Michaels and seeing as how wrestling a long match really isn’t his thing, Goldberg was in last and started decimating people. He eliminated Randy Orton after a big spear and then hit Jackhammers on both Michaels and Jericho, taking them out within a minute of each other.

Playing the perfect heel champion, Trips had stayed inside of his chamber while this was all happening but Goldberg ended up spearing him through the “glass” and out of the chamber, which was a pretty decent spot. However, again in perfect heel fashion, The Game used his trusty sledgehammer that was handed to him by Ric Flair to counter the next spear and picked up the victory to retain the Big Gold Belt, which obviously set up a one-on-one affair between the two with the stipulation that Goldberg would leave WWE if he didn’t beat Triple H at Unforgiven, which of course he did.

This match might be a little out of place on the list but there’s something about it I enjoy — and I’m not even a Goldberg guy. Perhaps the nostalgia of all of these guys in one ring does it for me. But even with that, I couldn’t put in the top 10, which starts now.
