Hyun-Jin Ryu has quietly been one of the best pitchers in baseball since he returned from the DL in late July. After tossing five scoreless innings Saturday against the Tigers, Ryu has a 1.55 ERA in five starts over that period. The lefty has also held opponents scoreless in three of his last four outings.
