Jacksonville Jaguars: Maurice Jones-Drew

Maurice Jones-Drew was a popular player in his time in the league, mainly for being an absolute stud for fantasy football owners during his time on the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was incredibly talented on the field, insanely popular for winning people fantasy leagues, so it only makes sense that he would be a star in the original “fantasy football” game in Madden.

Jones-Drew had a solid stretch of appearances in Madden from 2011 to 2013, with ratings of 96, 95 and 97 overall, respectively. He was the true star for the Jaguars in all of those years, and helped the team contend in a tough AFC South with the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans on the rise.

All of that star power transitioned over to his video game character, especially when it was time for the ratings to be released for 2013. He was incredibly tough to tackle, had impressive speed and was a scoring machine down by the goal line, just like in real life. Plus, as an added bonus, you didn’t have to worry about fantasy football players getting mad at you in the game for having situational awareness.

He was a consistent star for years in Madden, and it’s impossible to find someone that can top the talent that Jones-Drew brought to the table. Plus, if you want to take the title of this article as seriously as possible, he even won the “Madden Bowl” to lay claim to being the team’s best gamer in Madden, as well.
