Oakland Raiders: Randy Moss

As was mentioned in the New England Patriots part of the list with Tom Brady taking the team’s spot, compromises need to be made at some points, even if they’re utilizing technicalities to make things work. Randy Moss needed to be on this list in some fashion, the Oakland Raiders needed a player and here we are.

Moss didn’t spend a lot of time with the Raiders after his time with the Minnesota Vikings, and eventually found a new home in New England shortly after, but he still made an appearance in a couple of Madden games as a highly-rated Raider.

Moss’ prime performances came as a member of the Vikings and Patriots, but both teams have some serious talent when it comes to the Madden universe to work with. On the other hand, the Raiders don’t have a ton of game-changing players in their history, although Amari Cooper could become a game-breaker over the next few years.

With some impressive speed for his size, Moss was a huge threat on offense, and even the Raiders could put anyone at quarterback and chuck up a Hail Mary to the all-time great and likely have six points on the board soon after. He burned defenders left and right, and was an elite receiver in the game with his 97 rating in Madden NFL 07.

Although he had some better years, he still holds the spot as the Raiders’ best player in Madden history, and it’s going to be tough to take over the throne from one of the league’s all-time great wideouts.
