24. Charles Barkley in golf

Charles Barkley is one of the biggest names in sports that doesn’t happen to currently be an athlete anywhere, and has become one of the most entertaining figures in the sports world. Now, we need to get Sir Charles back out there competing professionally, and the only way to do that at this point is to get him better out on the golf course.

Barkley is a notoriously bad golfer, and when we say bad, we mean absolutely atrocious. If you haven’t seen the basketball legend’s golf swing, or any of his attempts to even hit the ball at some points, they’re … not good.

However, over the last year or so, we’ve seen some serious improvement in Barkley’s game, and he’s even parring a hole every now and then (which is better than I can say for myself). We’ve seen clips of him sinking putts for par, and his celebrations afterwards may be even better than his short game at times.

Barkley is incredibly entertaining when he’s on the course, and what we need to do now is get his game to a point where he can compete in an actual tournament that isn’t a pro-am. Imagine watching him in a tournament alongside the likes of Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy or even Phil Mickelson, and the conversations any of those pairings would have.

It’s a long shot, but maybe Barkley can up his game at a rapid rate and make this a reality. Either way, we’d love to see it.
