1. Andrew Wiggins, Minnesota Timberwolves + Cassie

Andrew Wiggins: composed, loyal and oozing with a natural and diverse skillset. And also an incredible dog father. Really, it’s no wonder the Timberwolves’ small forward is the best dog owner in the NBA. His mellow demeanor is perfect for taking on the intensity of puppyhood. Adopted from Happy Tails Rescue, a nonprofit in the Twin Cities, Andrew’s pup Cassie has become the apple of his eye and the thesis of his snapchat. Seriously, do you follow him Snapchat? It’s just Cassie.

With lakes abundant in the Minneapolis area, Andrew’s snapchat often features the duo’s outings and nature escapades. He also posts in their downtime, too – a sneak peak into the very chill, as assumed, lifestyle Andrew leads. It’ll be one year this September since to two found each other, and they’ve been inseparable from the jump. From lazy Sunday’s to summer afternoons, Andrew and Cassie are the definition of laid back.

As for how the two will spend National Dog Day? Likely a good, long walk in the city of lakes, assuredly some down time to relax, maybe an afternoon nap, and if they go all out, a trip to Clancey’s for the best sandwich in town (but now I’m just projecting, which I have a tendency to do when it comes to opinions on sandwiches, among other things).
