11. Jahlil Okafor, Philadelphia 76ers + Natty

Due to injury Jahlil didn’t have the opportunity to make as many waves as he could for his Rookie season highlight reel, but there was one particular sequence that caught our eye, when he crossed up his new Rottweiler pup, Natty. Jahlil, the Duke alum, who won a national championship with his squad in 2015, named his first dog daughter Natty in honor of the title.

It’s clear she holds a special place in Jahlil’s life and heart. While other dogs seem to have their own beds, from the looks of it, Natty gets to cuddle up with Jahlil on his. That’s true love.

Just like her father, Natty also loves basketball. Loyal to the game and her pops, she’s not scared to show affection or hop in a selfie.

Natty got Jahlil to herself for a while, however, Natty became a big sister last summer, as the Okafor’s welcomed an adorable Golden Retriever puppy to the family. And this spring, a pup named Rocky made his first debut on Jahlil’s Instagram.

It’s clear the 76ers big man is a dog guy. We’re happy to see him building a pack in Philadelphia. Happy National Dog Day to the Okafor crew.
