Michael Jordan
SG North Carolina

If this list was based off of NBA careers, then Michael Jordan would undoubtedly be at the top of this list. This list however is how these players would be viewed as prospects for today’s NBA, based off of their collegiate careers and how they would fit in. Jordan had a phenomenal career at North Carolina, but it says  a lot about the three guys who will follow him on this list that Jordan didn’t finish at the top. Jordan had career averages of 17.7 points, 5 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game in his three seasons with the Tar Heels. He won numerous awards during his time in college, and quickly solidified himself as one of the best players in the nation. His great size for the position, at 6-foot-6, and scoring ability will help him fit right in today’s NBA. Jordan was also a great defender, and showed a willingness to take the biggest shots in the game.

Jordan is one of the best finishers at the rim that college basketball had ever seen, and he was a marvel to watch in transition. He instantly made everyone around him better due to the large amount of attention he commanded each time he stepped on the court. With all the tools and intangibles he possess, he would surely seem able to dominant today’s NBA, as he did when he was at North Carolina. His work ethic was also one of the best, so he would still have the opportunity to drastically improve his game, despite it already being polished enough to be a force in the league.
