The Overly Concerned Parent

Of all the people that are at this game, the Overly Concerned Parent is the absolute worst. There is ZERO reason for them being at this game. They didn’t go to either school, they don’t like football or fun. All they are there for is to spend time with their kid that really doesn’t them there because they haven’t discovered to be assertive. That comes at 25, not 20.

All this parent wants to talk about is how school is going. They take great pride in saying they are paying for their kid’s education, even though Junior is getting through junior year predominantly on student loans this semester.

Overly Concerned Parent is NOT impressed with the tailgate they went to, as there was too much alcohol and it was too hot. They fail to realize that it’s September and it’s the first football game of the season against a team their kid’s school hates.

Overstaying their welcome, the parents complain about everything the entire weekend. How the seats weren’t great and too expensive, the concessions were unhealthy, it was too hot and the team lost. Even The Clueless Freshman whose cola-colored orientation shirt is mad that the Overly Concerned Parent is at this game. Nobody likes the Overly Concerned Parent, period.
