1. Green Bay Packers

While the Green Bay Packers do not typically sign free agents, signing Haden could be one acquisition that could set the Packers apart in the NFC playoffs come January. The Packers are extremely thin at cornerback, something that held them back from the Super Bowl last year.

Also, their tendencies may be changing. In an unexpected move, the Packers hosted former 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks to his first visit after being cut. While they have yet to sign the linebacker, even taking the visit should show they are willing to look to the free agency to solve some of their problems.

While the Packers have attempted to amp up their cornerback roster by drafting Kevin King and re-signing Davon House, it just is not enough. None of their top four cornerbacks played well last year, and there is no sign that they will improve or that King will surpass them.

The Packers have more than enough cap space to sign Haden to the deal he wants, and they certainly could use the help. Haden would immediately be the number one guy in Green Bay, and it would at least put a band-aid on the biggest hole on the Packers’ roster.
