Dallas Cowboys 0-0

Last week: Canceled
Last rank: 7th

The Dallas Cowboys are much like the Oakland Raiders. They are going to score a ton of points, they will allow a ton of points, and they will be praying they have the ball last.

Dallas has perhaps the most complete offense in the NFL. The Cowboys have an All-Pro running back in Ezekiel Elliott, although his status is in jeopardy with a six-game suspension looming. The offensive line is the league’s best, with Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick and Zack Martin anchoring the group. On the outside, Dez Bryant, Cole Beasley and Jason Witten give second-year quarterback Dak Prescott a bevy of option. Speaking of Prescott, he’s primed for a huge year after a phenomenal preseason.

Defensively, the Cowboys have real issues. The secondary was ravaged in free agency with the losses of Brandon Carr, J.J. Wilcox, Barry Church and Morris Claiborne. The front seven has also been depleted with the suspensions of David Irving and Randy Gregory, along with the long-term injury to Anthony Hitchens.

The Cowboys have a chance to repeat in the NFC East. Ten wins could be enough for Dallas, and while it plays one of the toughest schedules in the league, there is enough talent to get back to January. Still, the defense is a looming disaster if the offense loses any steam.
