NFL quarterback rankings: Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady lead way
Joe Montana Division
4. Ben Roethlisberger
Roethlisberger is considering retirement these days, but he’d be crazy to walk away from his current group. Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant are a tremendous combo, while Le’Veon Bell is good for 75 receptions out of the backfield. Roethlisberger is getting up there in age, but the future Hall of Famer remains one of the game’s best.
3. Drew Brees
Speaking of aging quarterbacks, the 39-year-old is winding down but doing so in grand style. Brees will likely retire with the all-time mark for passing yardage in his grasp, only needing 5,830 more to eclipse Peyton Manning. Provided he plays another 20 games or so, the record will be his.

2. Tom Brady
There is a real argument to made that Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time. He’s already won five Super Bowls, is the favorite to add a sixth this year, and has every imaginable accolade checked off. While being 40 years old keeps him behind Rodgers on this list, there’s no reason to believe Brady will slow down considerably anytime soon.
1. Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers didn’t win the MVP last year, but one could make a strong case that he should have. Nobody has ever put up the numbers that Rodgers has in his career, including an absurd 297 touchdowns against 72 career interceptions. When Rodgers is right, the Green Bay Packers are virtually unstoppable.
