Iman Marshall

Cornerback, USC

Outside of the New England Patriots comeback victory in the Super Bowl, the Green Bay Packers might have been the biggest comeback story in the 2016 NFL season. Left for dead at 4-6, star quarterback Aaron Rodgers told everybody to chill out, telling the world the Packers would not lose another game in the regular season. He made good on his promise, leading the team to six straight wins, and a division title with their Week 17 victory over the Detroit Lions.

Once the Packers got into the playoffs, they did not stop there, winning their Wildcard Round game against the New York Giants. In the Divisional Round, the Packers went into Dallas and beat the No. 1 seed in the NFC Playoffs, clinching a spot in the NFC Championship Game. They would get roasted by the Atlanta Falcons in the conference title game, as their biggest weakness was exploited by Matt Ryan and company.

With their first round pick in 2018, they need to do something to address their issues at cornerback. Iman Marshall from USC would be a nice fit for the Packers this late in the first round, and he should still be available. He is one of the most versatile defensive backs in college football, and could bring so much to the Packers secondary.

The Packers will likely make another run at a Super Bowl in 2017, as Rodgers is still one of the best quarterbacks in the game. They need help in the secondary, and while Marshall cannot help this season, grabbing him for 2018 would be a big help. Green Bay is going to be fun to watch this season, but will they be able to stop the elite quarterbacks in the NFC come playoff time?
