Trey Adams

Offensive Tackle, Washington

Prior to the 2016 NFL season, most people knew that Matt Ryan was a good quarterback. However, Matty Ice had never entered that next level occupied by the likes of Tom Brady and Drew Brees, but he changed all that last season. Ryan won his first NFL Most Valuable Player Award, leading the Falcons to the Super Bowl, where they nearly beat the New England Patriots.

Heading into 2017, the Falcons will look to be the kings of the NFC once again, and hopefully get another shot at the title. They incredibly blew a 28-3 second half lead against the Patriots in the Super Bowl, so they might have that hangover to start this season. All the talk around the organization is that they have turned the page, but that has to be a hard page to turn.

Whether or not they get back to the Super Bowl, it is almost a guarantee that they will be picking late in round one next April. With that pick, they should look to add more talent to the offensive line, and bring in a player like Trey Adams from Washington. This draft has way more offensive line talent than was available last April, and Adams has the ability to stay on the left side at the next level.

Atlanta has incredible offensive weapons, and they have done a nice job adding you talent to their defense in recent drafts. The priority for the organization has got to  be protecting Ryan, and Adams would give them another big body to put in front of him on Sundays. The Falcons are poised to make another run this season, and with everybody back on offense,  they could be just as prolific as they were in 2016.
