Bradley Chubb

Defensive End, NC State

The Miami Dolphins took a big hit when Ryan Tannehill went down this Summer, as he injured the same knee he hurt towards the end of last season. To replace Tannehill, the Dolphins went out and got Jay Cutler to leave the broadcast booth, so it should be an interesting season in South Beach. Head coach Adam Gase turned around the Dolphins fortunes his first season in 2016, though they could be in for a letdown in 2017.

Miami has a solid running back, and the combination of Jarvis Landry and Devante Parker is a good one at wide receiver. They have done a nice job fortifying their offensive line in recent years as well, spending a top pick on tackle Laremy Tunsil. On defense, the big bodies up front are solid as well, but they are starting to get up there in age.

Cameron Wake has been a star for the Dolphins during his career, but he is starting to get a big long in the tooth. With the No. 8 pick, look for the Dolphins to possibly go with a player who can come in and fill Wake’s shoes. Bradley Chubb is one of the more exciting defensive players in college football, and he would fit in nicely in Miami.

Chubb is explosive off the ball, and has that uncanny ability to get to the quarterback. He has been a sack machine during his time at North Carolina State, and definitely has the body to be a dominant player at the next level. The Dolphins have made their living by being able to get after the quarterback, and bringing in a player like Chubb will only help them get better along the defensive line.
